Point Class Documentation

class Point

Namespace:com::datalogics::PDFL

Detailed Description

Represents a discrete point or space in a PDF. A Point in a PDF document is in the right plane, relative to the origin being the lower left corner of the document.

Uses types

Constructor & Destructor Documentation

Point

Point()

Create a new point at the origin (0.0, 0.0).

Point

Point(double nh, double nv)

Parameters

nh: double

the horizontal coordinate

nv: double

the vertical coordinate

Create a new point at the specified coordinates.

Member Function Documentation

delete

synchronized void delete(Boolean disposing)

Parameters

disposing: Boolean

Returns:

synchronized void

delete

synchronized void delete()

Returns:

synchronized void

distanceTransform

Point distanceTransform(Matrix arg0)

Parameters

arg0: Matrix

Returns:

Point

A new Point representing the distance-transformed coordinates.

Distance Transform the Point by the values in the Matrix parameter. Applies a transformation without any translation component to this Point. This is useful for transforming distances or vectors rather than positions.

equals

boolean equals(Object rhs)

Parameters

rhs: Object

Returns:

boolean

finalize

void finalize()

Returns:

void

getH

double getH()

Returns:

double

The horizontal coordinate of the point.

getV

double getV()

Returns:

double

The vertical coordinate of the point.

setH

void setH(double value)

Parameters

value: double

Returns:

void

The horizontal coordinate of the point.

setV

void setV(double value)

Parameters

value: double

Returns:

void

The vertical coordinate of the point.

toString

String toString()

Returns:

String

A string in the format "( h,v )".

Return a string representation of the Point.

transform

Point transform(Matrix arg0)

Parameters

arg0: Matrix

Returns:

Point

A new Point representing the transformed coordinates.

Transform the Point by the values in the Matrix parameter. Applies a full affine transformation (including translation) to this Point using the given Matrix.
